Its really quite interesting.. how Singlish is an everyday thing to us.. just use it without having a second thought or three. Then we see the wiki article on Singlish, with crap like dental fricatives and voiceless stops, and we come to wonder how the heck we are able to use Singlish just like that without knowing of all these. Or that how wiki has managed to pull out that much bullshit from a random topic like Singlish. Whoever wrote that article would own King Lear upside down. But then again, imagine doing an IOC on a Singlish extract... "the sentence "Die liao lah" contains a topic-prominent structure, in which the topic 'die' is placed first. As such emphasis is placed on the word 'die', thus linking back to the poem's theme of death."

On another note, when you've listened to enough songs, you'll find that certain phrases repeat themselves. Well, I guess it was only a matter of time. Theres only that many permutations of notes.
